1.Why venture into makeup and provided we have many make up artists ,what makes yours outstanding?

I chose make-up because it’s an inbuilt passion and fire I can’t seem to put out. I’m drawn so much to it simply because of the uncontrollable and involuntary creative images that are constantly in my imagination.

What makes me outstanding is my ability to turn every creative image I see in my imagination to life through make-up and art.

2 Can it be taken as a profession or it's just for leisure ?

It can be both really. I take it as a profession for the simple reason that I trained with Tyrones Cosmotology centre and I also take it as leisure for the simple reason that it’s an any time every day leisure hype.I can’t wait to see the end product of every facebeat.I get nervous and it always feels like the first time.

3 What are some of the challenges that are associated with this industry?

On my end,it has simply been an exposure thing.If you are not known by the community and the the majority of people at large, it’s a challenge because apart from marketing your work referrals play a pivotal role in the life of a make-up artist.I had to give up my Instagram life as Grace for Grayace because it had more followers and so I changed it to a business account. It stung but I wanted something bigger and more than for the” for the gram” life.

Another challenge is having to make sure that you send out good quality pictures for your future clients to see them when they ask after your work. I at some point had a challenge with a good quality phone that captures good photos. So yes it’s a challenge when clients don’t like what they see. It is however my wish to get a personal camera.

Another challenge is pricing. Whooooshhh!its either you are the most cheapest or you are the most expensive one depending on how long you have been a MUA(make-up artist).However I have noticed that if your are the most cheap one, it’s really not about the money but about pushing volumes and getting yourself out there and securing as much clients as possible, whilst on the other hand the expensive ones have already made in the MUA life, so you buy their time and skill

4 Any famous faces that you have done make up for?

I would call my mum famous,so yes I have

When I was in school I did make-up for a local series on ZBCTV - Estate Blues.

I also did make-up on GrayAce for a video she featured recently on with Master H, a local artist.

5 Any future plans and also beauty tips?

a-most of my future plans are images created in my imagination on a daily basis...however I did mention above that I bring my creative images into life and for these I will keep it a mystery for now

Fashion can be considered an unapologetic way of expression, and for this young duo its proving that perfection is a disease of a nation ,all you need is just your uniqueness.This week I'm focusing on Trills Tait Maduwa and Jahseh Meza who are both photography models for West Trends Online Store .

What I love about them the most is that they are young and fresh and their style speaks the street trends ,and with only 3 years of them in the industry I see a great future for them.

The young duo on the rise is a force that everyone should be wary of as their style is also on trend in amongst their age .Trills and Jahseh as they want to be identified, are inspired by the love of clothing blending it with their own style and creativity hanging on the aspirations of Chris Taylor and Nairobi_West_Nicuur in a bid to become a blue print of their generation.

The 16 year olds ,are signed up at Western Trends Online Store which provides them their fashion pieces. As of now the greatest predicament they face is people misconcepting them as those kids who are after fashion battles .The duo also finds the represention and acceptance of male models in the industry as something treading on a rocky ground but it has never triggered them to put a halt on their careers as they aspire to become one of the most acclaimed duos in the modelling industry worldwide.

Tendai Mutidiko is a 25 year old upcoming Afro Fusion singer who draws inspiration from everything that sorrounds him which is prevalent in his three singles which he has baged so far as he is trying to make his presence felt.

Tendai ,says that the word fair cannot be associated with the music industry as of now in Zimbabwe but he is jovial that his genre is gaining much popularity within the populace.Lack of sponsorship ,piracy and exposure has been a blockade for all upcoming artists as they are killed from the root bbefore they even sprout .He hangs on the hope of becoming one of musical gurus particularly in his genre.
